Out here in the cold

Out here in the cold,
out here in the cold,
I come to feel numb,
I come to feel numb,
I come to feel nothing at all,
I come to feel nothing at all for I have been hurt by someone,
and all I want is for blankness of thought and that is all,
yes, out here in the cold,
the numbness of feeling makes me happy and I,
I am happy that there is no pain at all,
no, there is no pain at all,
no pain whatsoever and oh, oh how beautiful,
how beautiful it is,
and how wonderful it is to feel nothing at all,
and oh, how wonderful it is to feel nothing at all,
no, nothing after such heartbreaks,
nothing whatsoever,
for the coldness of the weather it takes my concentration away,
and I do not begrudge the weather at all,
and the pain of heartbreak how great a relief it is to me,
how great a relief it is to numb the feelings of love and the heartbreak of it all.
